Terms of Use
These Terms govern the use of the YofiPrice website and services.
YofiPrice is an independent service for finding and comparing prices of cosmetics and personal care products. We help you find offers from Israeli and international stores, compare them and move on to the seller you choose. YofiPrice is not a store and is not a party to the transaction between the user and the seller.
By using YofiPrice you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the service. When creating an account, the user separately confirms agreement with the version of the Terms then in force.
1. What YofiPrice provides
YofiPrice provides an information service that may include: product search; price comparison; availability information; offers from different stores; unit prices; delivery information; an estimate of the total cost; filters and sorting; favourites; history and saved products; notifications about price or availability changes; links to sellers’ websites; and other comparison and search features.
Use of the core search and price comparison features is free for the user. If a separate paid feature appears in the future, its price and conditions will be stated clearly before it is enabled or paid for.
2. YofiPrice is not the seller
YofiPrice does not sell products, does not take payment for stores’ products, does not store or ship products, is not the manufacturer or importer of the products displayed, does not set a store’s return conditions and is not a party to the contract of sale between the user and the store.
When an offer is chosen, the user moves to the relevant seller’s website and enters into the transaction directly with it. It is the seller that determines, and is responsible within the transaction for, the final price, product availability, acceptance of the order, payment, delivery, quality and conformity of the product, cancellation, returns, warranty and customer service.
The user’s rights in respect of a particular purchase are determined by the relevant seller’s terms and by the applicable law.
3. Where YofiPrice gets its data
Information about products and offers may come from various sources, including data published officially by stores, official price files, product feeds, APIs, affiliate networks, information provided by stores directly, permitted public sources and other lawful data sources.
Different stores and sources may be updated at different intervals. YofiPrice takes reasonable measures to keep information current, but cannot guarantee that a change at the seller will appear on YofiPrice immediately. Where available, the service may show the date or time an offer was last updated.
4. Prices
A price shown by YofiPrice is for information and is based on the most current data available to the service at the time of the last update.
A price may change after that update, for example because the seller changed it, a promotion started or ended, availability changed, an exchange rate changed, delivery conditions changed, a personal discount or promo code applied, the contents of the basket changed, or a technical delay in updating the data.
The price and conditions the seller shows the user before completing the purchase are the final ones. Before paying, check the total cost on the store’s own website.
5. Calculated figures
YofiPrice may calculate additional figures, for example price per 100 ml, price per unit, percentage saving, price range, estimated delivery cost and estimated total cost of the purchase.
Such figures are calculated automatically from the data available and may be rounded. If a store’s source data is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, the calculated figure may also differ from the actual result.
6. International offers, delivery and taxes
YofiPrice may show offers from international stores that deliver to Israel. The fact that a store generally delivers to Israel does not guarantee that every product or brand can be delivered.
Brand restrictions, product category restrictions, minimum order values, free-delivery thresholds, delivery method restrictions, customs and import rules, taxes and duties, and the seller’s regional restrictions may all apply.
Where YofiPrice shows a delivery cost or an estimated total, the calculation is based on the information available to the service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such values should be treated as an estimate and not as a guaranteed amount payable. Final delivery costs, taxes, duties and the order total are determined at checkout with the seller and in accordance with the applicable rules.
7. Currencies
Prices in international stores may originally be quoted in a foreign currency. YofiPrice may convert them into Israeli shekels for ease of comparison.
The exchange rate used by the service may differ from the rate of the user’s bank, the payment system, the card issuer, the store, or the rate applied when the charge is actually made. The amount actually charged may therefore differ from the conversion shown by YofiPrice.
8. Product matching
YofiPrice aims to compare offers for one and the same product. Matching may use a barcode, an SKU or other identifier, the brand, the name, the volume, the variant, the version, the packaging and other properties.
Matching is performed automatically and manually, so errors cannot be ruled out entirely. If you find an incorrect match, you can report it through the Contact page.
9. The order of offers
By default, offers are sorted by the displayed product price in ascending order, unless the page expressly states another sorting criterion.
If YofiPrice provides sorting by estimated total cost, delivery or another figure, the criterion in use is clearly indicated in the interface.
The existence of an affiliate relationship or the size of a commission does not affect a store’s position in the results under the same chosen criterion.
10. Affiliate links
Some links to stores are affiliate links. If a user follows such a link and makes a qualifying purchase, YofiPrice may receive a commission from the store or the affiliate network.
YofiPrice does not add any mark-up or separate charge to the price of a product for the use of an affiliate link. The final price, discounts and conditions of purchase are set by the store.
Affiliate co-operation helps fund the work of YofiPrice, but does not in itself give a store an advantage in the order in which offers are displayed. Further information about data processing on affiliate clicks is in the Privacy Policy.
11. Stores on YofiPrice
The presence of a store on YofiPrice means that the service holds information about its offers. Displaying a store is not in itself a guarantee that it will fulfil every order, that a product will always be in stock, of delivery times, of service quality, or of performance towards a particular buyer.
The “verified stores” label means that we show large chains and well-known platforms whose data comes from official sources — published price files, product feeds, APIs or information supplied by the store itself — rather than being collected at random. It is a statement about the source of the data, not an assessment of a store’s service quality.
YofiPrice is not responsible for a store’s actions, but may stop displaying its offers if serious problems, unreliable data or other circumstances make continued display inappropriate.
12. Age and legal capacity
YofiPrice may be used by any user who is lawfully able to use the relevant features of the service. Where the applicable law requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian to create an account or use a particular feature, the user must obtain such consent.
13. User account
If YofiPrice offers the option to create an account, the user must provide accurate contact details needed for the features they have chosen. The user is responsible for keeping access to their account secure and must not pass their password to others. Passwords are stored by YofiPrice in hashed form. If unauthorised access is suspected, the user should inform YofiPrice as soon as possible.
YofiPrice may temporarily restrict access to an account where this is reasonably necessary to protect the account, to prevent abuse, on breach of these Terms, or to comply with a legal requirement or an order of a competent authority.
The user may delete their account in the way the YofiPrice interface provides. Processing of account data is described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Price and availability notifications
A user may subscribe to notifications about price changes, product availability or other YofiPrice notifications. Such notifications are provided as an informational feature.
YofiPrice takes reasonable measures to send them in good time, but does not guarantee that every change will be detected immediately, that a notification will be delivered without delay, that the price will remain unchanged after a notification is sent, or that the product will still be available when the user goes to the store. A YofiPrice notification is not an offer or a guarantee of the price concerned.
15. Product information
Product names, descriptions, volumes, compositions, images and other properties may come from stores, manufacturers, brands, affiliate networks and other sources. The formula, packaging or properties of a cosmetic product may be changed by the manufacturer.
Before using a product, the user should check the current information on the packaging or with the manufacturer. If information on YofiPrice differs from the labelling of the product actually received, the labelling of the product itself and the manufacturer’s official information should be followed.
16. Medical information
YofiPrice is a search and price comparison service, not a medical service. Information about cosmetic products, ingredients, categories or a product’s purpose is not medical advice, is not a diagnosis, does not replace consulting a doctor or another qualified specialist, and does not guarantee that a particular product is suitable for a particular user.
If you have a medical condition, an allergy, a reaction to an ingredient or doubts about a product’s safety, consult an appropriate specialist and check the current composition before use.
17. Third-party websites
Links on YofiPrice lead to websites operated by other organisations. Once you follow such a link you leave YofiPrice.
YofiPrice does not control the third-party site and is not responsible for its content, availability, security, prices, rules, processing of personal data, payment methods or what happens after the user moves there. Use of a store’s website is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
18. Permitted use of YofiPrice
YofiPrice is intended for ordinary searching, comparing and reviewing of offers. A user may browse pages, search for products, use the comparison features available, save products within the features provided, go through to stores and use the information for their own purchasing decisions.
Automated access to public pages is permitted within the technical rules published by YofiPrice, including robots.txt, provided that it does not disrupt the service and does not create an excessive load.
19. Prohibited use
Without prior permission from YofiPrice it is prohibited to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server, the database or other users’ accounts; circumvent security measures and access restrictions; interfere with the operation of the site; distribute malicious code; deliberately create an excessive automated load; extract YofiPrice data in bulk in order to create or maintain a competing commercial database; systematically copy a substantial part of the catalogue, the structure or the original content of YofiPrice; use automated means contrary to the published technical restrictions of the site; impersonate another person; or use the service for fraud or other unlawful purposes.
This section does not prohibit acts expressly permitted by law, by written permission from YofiPrice, or through an API provided by YofiPrice.
20. Intellectual property
The YofiPrice software, original texts, design elements, site structure, the YofiPrice logo, the original organisation of data and other materials created by YofiPrice belong to their respective rights holder and are protected to the extent provided by the applicable law.
The names of stores, brands and products, trademarks, logos and images of third parties belong to their respective rights holders. Displaying them in the service does not transfer ownership to YofiPrice.
Nothing in these Terms grants the user the right to use trademarks or protected materials of YofiPrice or of third parties beyond ordinary use of the service.
21. Reporting errors and rights infringements
If you find an incorrect price, an incorrect product match, an outdated offer, a technical error, an infringement of intellectual property rights or other problematic material, you can report it through the Contact page or at yofiprice@gmail.com.
We review substantiated reports and, where necessary, correct, restrict or remove the information concerned. Questions about an order, payment, delivery or returns must be addressed directly to the store where the purchase was made.
22. User messages and suggestions
By sending YofiPrice a message, a suggestion for improvement or a report of an error, the user permits us to use the content of that message to the extent needed to consider it, correct errors and improve the service. This does not mean any transfer of exclusive rights in the user’s materials to YofiPrice.
Confidential information, trade secrets or personal data of third parties should not be sent through YofiPrice forms unless it is needed in order to deal with the message.
23. Availability of the service
YofiPrice aims to keep the service running reliably but does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of every feature. The site’s operation may be temporarily limited because of maintenance, updates, a fault, the actions of an infrastructure provider, a network failure, a security threat or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of YofiPrice.
We may change and develop the features of the service. If a change materially affects the user’s rights or the nature of the service provided, we will give information about it in a reasonable form.
24. YofiPrice’s liability
YofiPrice takes reasonable measures to provide accurate and current information, but a significant part of the data comes from external sources. We therefore cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness and currency of every price, availability status, product property, delivery cost, promotion, link or piece of information provided by a third party.
YofiPrice is not a party to the transaction with the store and is not responsible for a seller’s failure to meet its obligations on a particular purchase.
To the extent permitted by the applicable law, YofiPrice is also not liable for indirect losses arising solely from temporary unavailability of the service, a delay in updating third-party data, or the actions of an independent seller.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the liability of YofiPrice or the rights of the user to the extent that such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
25. Stopping use and restricting access
A user may stop using YofiPrice at any time. If they have an account, they may delete it through the mechanism available.
YofiPrice may restrict access to a particular feature or account where this is reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, a security threat, fraud or abuse, a breach of the law, or a requirement of a competent authority.
Where it is reasonable and does not impede security or compliance with the law, YofiPrice will seek to inform the user of the reason for the restriction.
26. Discontinuing the service
YofiPrice may discontinue the whole service or particular features. If discontinuation affects accounts or data saved by the user, we will try to give reasonable notice in advance where possible. Personal data on discontinuation is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the applicable law.
27. Changes to the Terms
YofiPrice may update these Terms from time to time as the service develops, as new features are added, if the business model changes, or because of changes in the law or in security requirements.
The date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page. Material changes will be accompanied by a prominent notice on the site and, where necessary, a notice to registered users. If the law requires separate user consent for a particular change, such consent will be obtained.
New terms do not retroactively change rights and obligations that already arose before they took effect, unless the law expressly provides otherwise.
28. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
Processing of personal data when using YofiPrice is governed by a separate Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms part of the rules for using the service as regards the processing of personal data.
29. Invalidity of a particular provision
If a particular provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. The invalid provision applies to the extent closest to its original purpose that the law allows.
30. No waiver of rights
If YofiPrice has not exercised a right under these Terms or under the law in a particular case, that does not in itself amount to a waiver of that right in the future.
31. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel. Disputes relating to the use of YofiPrice are heard by the competent courts of the State of Israel in accordance with the applicable rules of jurisdiction.
This section does not limit the user’s right to apply to a court or another body where such a right is given to them by a mandatory rule of law.
32. Language versions
The Terms are available in Hebrew, Russian and English. The governing version is the Hebrew one; the other language versions are provided for users’ convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between the translations, the Hebrew version prevails to the extent permitted by the applicable law.
